About ZenSleepZone
An independent sleep education platform helping people understand and improve their rest through honest, research-referenced guidance.
Our Mission
ZenSleepZone exists to make sleep science accessible. We translate peer-reviewed research, clinical guidelines, and established behavioural science into clear, practical guidance that real people can use β without a medical degree, and without wading through academic papers.
Sleep is not a marginal health issue. It underpins immune function, emotional regulation, metabolic health, cognitive performance, and long-term disease risk. Yet millions of people struggle with it every night, often without understanding why or knowing where to start. ZenSleepZone was created to close that information gap.

Our Approach
Every article on ZenSleepZone is produced according to a consistent editorial process. We prioritise primary sources β peer-reviewed studies, AASM guidelines, NHS and NIH publications β over opinion or anecdote. Claims that cannot be sourced are not published.
We are an independent platform, which means our editorial content is not shaped by advertisers. Where affiliate links appear in product-related content, they are disclosed and do not influence our assessments.
Full details of how we research, fact-check, and update our content are available in our Editorial Policy.
Who Writes for ZenSleepZone
ZenSleepZone is produced by a small, focused team of specialist researchers and writers. We are not a hospital, a clinical practice, or a medical journal β and we say so clearly. Our team brings deep applied knowledge of sleep science, behavioural sleep strategies, and sleep environment research.

Aamir Bashir, Founder & Editor
Founder and editor of ZenSleepZone. Researches the sleep literature and clinical guidelines and turns them into clear, practical guides. Not a doctor; every page is checked against its sources.

What We Are β and What We Are Not
We believe the most trustworthy thing a sleep education platform can do is be clear about its limits. Here is ours:

It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. If you experience persistent sleep problems, symptoms of a sleep disorder, or any health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
